Adults navigating mental health difficulties
We support adults who are recovering after a period of mental health difficulty and are trying to rebuild routines, confidence, connection and stability in everyday life.
MentaSpring provides practical, community-based support alongside existing services.
We support adults who are recovering after a period of mental health difficulty and are trying to rebuild routines, confidence, connection and stability in everyday life.
Some people need support before difficulties reach crisis point. This may include people experiencing increasing stress, isolation, reduced confidence or difficulties managing everyday life.
We aim to provide practical support, information and connection at an earlier stage.
Health and community services can be difficult to understand, particularly when someone is already struggling.
We can help people understand their options, identify appropriate services and work out their next step.
Mental health difficulties affect families and the people who provide support.
We provide accessible information and guidance to help families and carers understand available support and find appropriate services.
We provide education and practical information around ADHD and neurodiversity, including understanding assessment pathways, preparing for assessment and identifying appropriate support.
MentaSpring does not diagnose or provide clinical treatment.
We support people who may feel isolated or disconnected from their community.
Our community-based programmes aim to create opportunities for connection, shared understanding and supportive relationships.
Culture, migration experiences, language, trust and stigma can all influence how people understand and access mental health support.
MentaSpring is developing community-based approaches that recognise these experiences and create space for people to discuss mental health openly and without judgement.
Our work includes a particular focus on minority and migrant communities across South-East London, including African diaspora communities.
We are developing our programmes with local communities and will continue to adapt our work as we learn more about local needs.
MentaSpring is not a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger, call 999 or see our safety information.
If you are unsure where to start, you can contact MentaSpring to discuss what you need and explore the appropriate next step.
